Natural stone · imported direct
Marble.
Marble is the stone we’re named for — a metamorphic rock crystallized under intense heat and pressure, with veining no factory has ever matched. It runs naturally cool, reads crisp and bright in any room, and brings a timelessness that has kept it in demand for centuries.
Honesty matters here: marble is softer and more porous than granite or quartzite, so it can etch and stain without care. We’ll tell you straight where marble belongs in your home — and where another stone will serve you better. That candor is how a family keeps customers for fifty years.
At a glance
What marble gives — and what it asks.
- The look
- Veining and depth nothing engineered can imitate; every slab is one of one.
- Naturally cool
- Stays cool to the touch — the classic surface for bakers and pastry work.
- Care
- Mild soap and water; no acids or cutting on the surface; reseal yearly. We seal every stone before installation.
- Straight talk
- Softer and more porous than other natural stone — it patinas with life. Many owners love that; we’ll help you decide if you will.
Colors & uses
Carrara, Calacatta, Danby — and beyond.
The classics are here — Carrara, Calacatta, Statuario, Crema Marfil, and Vermont Danby, in polished or honed finishes — alongside blacks like Nero Marquina and Nero Portoro, grays like Pietra Gray and Bardiglio, and specialty stones from Rainforest Green to Emperador. Honed white Carrara remains the most-requested marble in our shop.
Marble shines in kitchens and baking stations, vanity tops, full-height shower walls, and fireplace surrounds — anywhere its veining can carry the room. For hard-working family kitchens, ask us about quartzite, which delivers the marble look with far more toughness.
