Granite.

Granite is 100% natural rock — no composites, no additives — and no two slabs on earth are alike. It shrugs off heat, resists scratches and chips, and stands up to the heaviest daily use a kitchen can throw at it, which is why it has anchored more Connecticut kitchens than any stone we carry.

Walk our Hartford yard and choose your exact slab in open daylight. We template your space, fabricate in our own shop, seal the stone before installation, and set it with our own crew.

At a glance

Why granite keeps winning kitchens.

Heat
Withstands high heat without damage — a pan off the burner won’t faze it.
Durability
Very resistant to scratches and chips; built for decades of daily use.
Care
Mild soap and water day to day; reseal every one to two years. We seal every stone before it’s installed.
Where it works
Kitchens, vanities, fireplace and tub surrounds, outdoor kitchens, and commercial counters.

Colors & finishes

From Thunder White to Absolute Black.

The yard carries granite across the whole spectrum — whites like Colonial White, River White, and Moon White; blacks like Absolute Black, Black Galaxy, and Ubatuba; grays like Caledonia, Bianco Antico, and Titanium; golds like Giallo Ornamental and Venetian Gold; even blues like Azul Platino and Blue Pearl.

Most colors are available polished (glossy and low-maintenance), honed (a softer matte), or leathered (a textured, rustic finish that hides fingerprints and water spots well). Inventory changes as containers arrive — come see what’s standing in the yard this week.

Also in the yard: Marble · Quartzite · Quartz · Soapstone · Porcelain & Sintered
